What have we got for you today? Offices... I didn't start it that way, but there seems to be a lot of posts about office-based design this week. And for those of you in retail or branding a little piece about pop-up shops.
We have been working on a new product to offer, it's like a Brand Your Space starter kit, in the form of a Logo Wall. The wall graphic comes at 1.3m wide by 2.5m tall background and a separate Logo. This means you can use the background vertically or horizontally... you can even buy two or three and panel them up to cover a larger wall.
We're still working on the details, but if you join our waiting list today you will get a background and two logos rather than the usual one for £120. These would be great for the background of your zoom, youtube or podcast videos. You can even shoot products against the Logo Walls or place one in your pop-up store and use it as a selfie wall for social media.
There are preset backgrounds, but you can also have custom artwork if you have your own brand graphics. So email us now and register and we'll get in touch before the end of Feb and the official launch.

Resimercial, what?
Resimercial design is a trend in office design that incorporates elements of both residential and commercial design to create a more comfortable and welcoming workspace. This approach seeks to bridge the gap between work and home by creating an environment that feels more like a home, with comfortable seating, warm lighting, and cozy materials.

The focus on resimercial design is driven by the growing recognition of the importance of employee well-being and comfort in the workplace. By creating a more relaxed and homely atmosphere, resimercial design can help to reduce stress and increase productivity, leading to a more positive work environment for employees.
With Work From Home, WFH, comforts being something that many of us got used to in 2020 it makes sense that the design elements of the homely feel have made their way into the workplace.
In addition to comfort, resimercial design also incorporates functionality, with practical features such as ample storage, adjustable lighting, and modern technology to support the needs of modern workers. This combination of comfort and functionality makes resimercial design a popular trend in contemporary office design, as it allows for a more personalised and enjoyable work experience.

How Much Does it Cost to Brand Office Walls?

Pop-up Stores
Pop-up stores can range from inexpensive to a full-on brand experience, so we ask what are the key things you have to consider if you or your brand are considering a pop-up store in 2023.
Location: Choose a high-traffic location that is easily accessible to your target customers.
Branding: Make sure your branding is consistent and eye-catching to attract customers and create a lasting impression.
Product display: Create an attractive and organized display of your products to draw customers in and increase sales.
Marketing: Use social media, email, and other marketing channels to promote your pop-up shop and generate buzz.
Staffing: Hire friendly, knowledgeable staff to provide excellent customer service and assist with sales. High quality human interaction is key unless it's a vending machine.
Inventory: Ensure you have a sufficient quantity of products to meet customer demand, but also be prepared to make changes quickly if necessary. Small spaces don't hold much stock to consider how you top-up your pop-up.
Technology: Utilise technology, such as mobile POS systems and online payment options, to streamline transactions and improve the customer experience. Human centric technology is key to making purchases easier for the customers, not easier for your backend database.
Flexibility: Be prepared to adapt to changing circumstances and make changes on the fly to maximize success.
Customer feedback: Encourage customer feedback and use it to improve your pop-up shop experience and offerings. Keep in touch with customers after the pop-up shop closes to build relationships and drive future sales. There are lots of ways to do this creatively so think out of the box.
The Louis Vuitton pop-up from 2019 is not just a great 'in real life' experience it also was very visual that translated well to photos and social media. So consider all these things when you are trying to create the greatest pop-up experience. Do not copy the greats...but you can build on their concepts.

Hybrid working in Co-working spaces.

Hybrid work models are a work arrangement where employees split their time between working from home, a shared workspace and, or, a coworking space.
In the UK, hybrid work models have gained popularity in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, as people seek to balance the benefits of remote work with the social and collaborative benefits of working in a shared workspace. Meaning many coworking spaces in the UK are now offering flexible membership options that accommodate hybrid work models.
In addition to flexible membership options, many coworking spaces in the UK are also working to create an environment that supports remote workers. This is offering high-speed internet, ergonomic furniture, inspiring spaces, and a range of amenities that make working from the space more comfortable and productive.
Overall, hybrid work models are poised to play a significant role in the future of companies through out the UK, and coworking spaces are well-positioned to accommodate this trend. By offering flexible membership options, supporting remote workers, and providing a safe and productive environment for work, coworking spaces are becoming an increasingly popular choice for businesses and individuals looking for a flexible and sustainable alternative to traditional office spaces.
Finally, it is likely that coworking spaces in the UK will continue to focus on sustainability, and will seek to reduce their carbon footprint and promote eco-friendly practices. This could involve incorporating renewable energy sources into their spaces, reducing waste, and promoting sustainable transportation options for workers.

Office Design
This issue is all about 'them offices' either co-working, work from home offices or the company building. So what top tips can we find to make working from any of these locations better. Another list, lists are always good, so here are the tops tips for designing a great workspace.
Ergonomics: Ensure the office design includes ergonomic furniture and equipment to reduce the risk of injury (bad backs and shoulders) and improve comfort for employees.
Natural light: Maximize the use of natural light to create a brighter and more productive environment. Or fake it with lighting that has natural light hues.
Collaboration spaces: Provide areas for team collaboration and meetings to encourage communication and teamwork. Harder when working from home, but sometimes the dog is a good listener.
Privacy: Balance privacy needs with open spaces to allow for both focused work and collaboration. Headphones and Brain.FM work for me when I need to focus, anywhere.
Flexibility: Consider a flexible office design that can adapt to changing business needs and accommodate future growth.
Technology: Ensure the office design incorporates the latest technology, including fast internet and modern communication systems.
Comfort: Create a comfortable and appealing environment with adequate heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
Sustainability: Incorporate sustainable design elements, such as energy-efficient lighting and water-saving fixtures, to reduce the company's environmental impact.
Feedback: Involve employees in the design process by seeking their feedback and input to ensure the office design meets their needs and preferences.
